Dykes With Drills will be spending a day at Rodgers Ranch to help install a new worm bin for the community garden. Rodgers Ranch Heritage Center in Pleasant Hill, is a non-profit that offers classes, community garden beds and other ways for folks to get more connected with the earth.
Formerly known as Friends of Rodger Ranch, the non-profit organization was formed in 1986 to raise money for the restoration, preservation and maintenance of the Rodgers Ranch Historic Site. In 1991 the 1867 buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places and represent the few remnants of California's wheat growing past and Pleasant Hill's oldest structures.

2.
Donate & Sponsor
We are looking for individuals and corporate groups to donate to and sponsor our community builds. If you are a DWD fan who can donate $20, or a corporate group who can donate $10,000, we appreciate it all! Every bit matters and goes toward making our community ever more magical.
Why donate or sponsor? Here’s what people say about their experience with DWD.
“I took one EXTREMELY affordable workshop with Dykes with Drills and I’ve built veggie boxes for friends family and myself as well as a book shelf and coffee table since. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and I want to help continue dismantling the gender construct(ion) around power tools and carpentry work! Thank you for the amazing work you’re doing!
