Why are we called "Dykes With Drills"?
We call ourselves Dykes With Drills. By using the word “dyke”, we reclaim it from its history of oppression and exclusion. By using drills and other tools, we build communities of diversity and inclusion. Our community includes people of all sexualities and genders, including those who are non-conforming, transgender, and allies.

Why do we ask people what their pronouns are?
At Dykes With Drills, we are committed to creating spaces where people of all genders feel welcome and seen. When we gather, we give our participants the opportunity to introduce themselves and share their pronouns with the group.

Who's allowed to participate in our programming?
We host a variety of programs, with most being inclusive of all genders. We do have a few programs which seek to serve specifically non-cisgendered male participants, such as our overnight carpentry camps. We invite all women (cisgender or trans), and gender non-conforming folks to join us for all of our programs.

Where can you find our waiver?
Here is our general liability waiver. All participants must have this filled out before building with us! Most programs have waivers in our online registration forms.

What is our refund policy?
All of our events are refundable with advanced notice. Please note however, we cannot however refund the processing fees from Flipcause. Refunds must be requested at least a week prior to the start of the event, unless otherwise indicated on the event page.
