Dykes With Drills teamed up with Bay Area Derby and Skate Like a Girl to build out the second installment of an indoor skate park in Oakland, Ca. This was our biggest volunteer event to date and was tons of fun! Thanks to everyone who came out, our build leads and our volunteers. It’s awesome to see so many women, trans and gender non conforming folks, as well as having support from our male allies!
What we’ve accomplished:
1.
Building a new spine ramp.
2.
Building a new halfpipe ramp.
3.
Bringing together over 50 volunteers and 100 corporate volunteers.
