Hanging Wine Rack Workshop

Join Dykes With Drills at Futureworks NYC Makerspace for this fun beginner workshop and learn to make a hanging wine rack for your home! In this workshop participants will learn to use mitersaw, bandsaw, and drills to make a cute hanging wine rack.  No experience necessary. This workshop is open to all. Come enjoy the space, make new friends, and learn a new skill!

Accessibility

Do you have a low scent tolerance? We ask that our participants refrain from using extreme scents, though cannot guarantee the workshop space will be scent free. Please know that sawdust is present in the shop and we have masks available upon request.

Do you use ASL? We currently don’t have translation available, and would love to work with you about how you can access our workshops.

Pre-Requisites

  • Age 18+

  • No woodworking experience necessary

COVID-19 Protocols

Your safety is our highest priority, so we have put safety protocols in place for all of our in-person workshops to keep everyone safe. Those protocols are:

  • All instructors, assistants, and participants will be required to show proof of vaccinations. Masks are optional.

  • Everyone should follow recommended safety precautions, such as coughing into your elbow and refraining from touching their face.

  • All of the tools, equipment, door handles, cabinet and drawer handles, etc. that are touched will be disinfected both before and after the workshop.
