Birdhouse Workshop
Calling all bird lovers! Decorate your yard while providing shelter for the local birds. Come learn some basic woodworking skills while making a unique cedar birdhouse for you and your feathered friends. Cedar is bird safe and rot resistance, so perfect for your little feathered friends. In this workshop you will learn how to use the miter saw, drills, and orbital sanders to make the house. All materials are included in the cost of the class. This class is open to all! No woodworking experience required. Come enjoy our shop and tools, make friends, and learn a new skill.
NOTE: This workshop takes place at Community Workshop NOLA, located at 3142 Calhoun St.

Accessibility
Do you have a low scent tolerance? We ask that our participants refrain from using extreme scents, though cannot guarantee the workshop space will be scent free. Please know that sawdust is present in the shop and we have masks available upon request.
Do you use ASL? We have translation available, and would love to work with you about how you can access our workshops.
