Serving Tray Workshop
Join Dykes With Drills at Beanlandia!
The holidays are coming and what better way to serve your guests than with a one of a kind serving tray made by you! Come learn some basic woodworking skills while making something cool for your home.
In this workshop, participants will learn the safety and use of the miter saw, brad nail guns and drills to make a beautiful and unique serving tray out of wood. Participants will have several options for adding handles to their trays. All materials are included in the cost of the class. This class is open to all! No woodworking experience required.

Accessibility
Do you have a low scent tolerance? We ask that our participants refrain from using extreme scents, though cannot guarantee the workshop space will be scent free. Please know that sawdust is present in the shop and we have masks available upon request.
Do you use ASL? We have translation available, and would love to work with you about how you can access our workshops.

COVID-19 Protocols
Your safety is our highest priority, so we have put safety protocols in place for all of our in-person workshops to keep everyone safe. Those protocols are:
All instructors, assistants, and participants will be required to show proof of vaccinations and wear masks while attending workshops. We do not have enough masks to provide to everyone, so you will be required to provide your own mask.
Everyone should follow recommended safety precautions, such as coughing into your elbow and refraining from touching their face.
All of the tools, equipment, door handles, cabinet and drawer handles, etc. that are touched will be disinfected both before and after the workshop.
