Beloved Community Build
Dykes With Drills is proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity for their Beloved Community Build in Oakland. The Beloved Community Build is a wonderful way for participants to create connections with other volunteers and the community we’ll serve. Together, we’ll build more than gardens. We’ll build change.
Date/Time:
April 2nd
9am - 2pm
Along with a fun and rewarding build experience, participants will receive an Habitat for Humanity event t-shirt, coffee and pastries to start the day, lunch provided by a local restaurant, and a guided lunchtime discussion about Dr. King’s vision of a Beloved Community, and how your contribution builds us closer to it.
